For your 2nd re-painting you did a great job.  I have found that weathering or painting cars are more joyable then working on the layout.  It gets addictive.  Thanks for sharing.  Nick

There certainly isn't any spare room inside, of that I can attest.  I was amazed at how they crammed all the stuff in there!

This was a great extersize in painting and decaling.

 looks like the pic that I used. With the expection of some numbers that moved

when I put decal set on and tried to strighten. I will get better with time.

 The hard part anty more is finding detail parts and some decals.

 Still looking for 3 chime horns for the switcher that was what was on the prr in the pic.

Maybe Harry was panting after he finished painting!

 Here is what I could see from the pic of 9484 i could not see the horns on the 9483

 the pic was not at good angle. I am figering there the same.

 thay look like nathon 3 chime.

 the decal set i used this time was walthers. when I had done ho years ago I use

 to use microscales decal set. I tried the walthers it had come with some used things we bought. figered I would try it. It wicked out fast. It would not lift agin

 when I put more decal set on it to try to move them.

 If you have horns simler to this Please let me know.

I recently airbrushed 3 boxcars.  They came out great, but on the first one it had been a while since I had painted anything and I "thought" I had all the right stuff (paint, thinner, etc) when I headed out to the garage.

I mixed it all up and started spraying but I was getting clumpy paint out of the airbrush.  Come to find out I had thinned the paint with MEK and not Testors thinner

I quickly cleaned up the mess and switched over to the Testors thinner and now have 3 nice looking PS1 boxcars.

I model the Seaboard Air Line and decals are hard to find, but I've been getting Jerry Glow to make some for me on my last projects.  If you model a RR that is hard to find shoot him an email:

The way he's made the ones for me have been very easy to put on and no cutting/splicing numbers so far as he's made them car specific per my requests!!!
