I have a #60 trolley that has been in my family forever. I went threw the whole thing clean, lube ect. It runs but it needs some help getting started. I suspect the armature may need some help or if I could get a good replacement I'll go that route. Anybody have one? Thanks.

Have you tested the armature with an ohmmeter?
To be honest I have a meter but I'm a little ohmmeter challenged!
Did the trolley run before you started?
Did you replace the brushes and brush springs?
I suggest re-cleaning the brush holders and commutator plate.
If you haven't replaced the brushes, I'd try fresh ones.
If it does test out to be bad, this guy can rebuild it.

Thanks Joe I may need his service. I'll have Marty test it for me. The brushes are good and I cleaned the commutator till it was shiny.
I think I have one or two complete Postwar Trolley chassis.
Send me an Email using my OGR contact information if you are interested.
Chris, when you come by for your items, bring it with you.
