I am building a wooden steel bridge and need something to simulate rivets. I am currently using small pinheads where I cut off 80% of the needle and stick the needle through the wood leaving exposed the small round needle head, then I spray paint it.

does anyone else have a better idea??

Thanks,

Yep, Archer Transfers.  Here's a quick link to their O page...

One note, though....  As with any water-slide decals, you'll need to apply them to a painted/coated glossy surface for best adhesion.  If you're building in wood, you'll want to apply a grain sealer and/or paint with a glossy final coat.  After the decals have been applied and dried, you can kill the gloss with Dullcoat, or some other matte finish.

Even if you build with styrene/ABS, you'll want to apply a gloss coat before decals.  Decals tend to not stick as well to parent material as to a glossy coated surface.

....IMHO, of course.

FWIW, always.
