New DCS User

how do you know what version you have?   My remote says  version 3.10.

 That's the version of DCS in the remote, i.e., DCS 3.1.

To learn the version in the TIU:

Menu/System/TIU Setup/TIU Version

Thanks Barry.  I keep getting a TIU Error message.   I have even tried to reset the TIU.    

Were you able to download the latest loader to your computer and bring it up on the screen?

I keep getting a TIU Error message.

There are a few common reasons for getting a TIU Error message. They all occur when the TIU is tethered to the remote:

• The TIU has an ID# (1 through 5) that isn't present in the remote
• The connecting cable between the TIU and the remote isn't a 4-conductor cable, or is otherwise defective
• One of the pins inside the cable jack on the TIU, remote or both, has either a bent pin or a pin that's touching another pin.

No  the    installer program  says   i need to have version 3.5  of .NET   I have 4.6.    I was never able to being it up.
