The cab of switcher seems like a copy of the most recent switcher locomotives from mainland Europe made by Voith & Vossloh.

I agree that replacement of the glass is something a railroad would be more concerned about than would a small locomotive manufacturer.

 

FRA glass is very expensive, especially if it is heated.  One pane of the heated windshield glass for a contemporary GE North American cab is over $1,000.00.  I hesitate to think what a windshield of the size pictured would cost.
