How about the Great Northern S-2, 4-8-4 Northern with matching scale Heavyweight Madison passenger sets (Glacier Park paint scheme).
Jim that would be tempting for me... the Great Northern ran in Montana and I try and collect what ran in Montana.

September release!!!! That's too long!! This O Gauge addict needs the information sooner!! Come on Lionel...what Milwaukee Road, Northern Pacific, Great Northern, or Montana Rail Link are you going to have in there!!!
Just as someone may be addicted to Oxycotin. Lionel and MTH catalogs have the same effect!!!
I agree to. I did hear that they are making heavyweights for the J.
Bill
Are you even planning to buy the Great Northern ACF Center Flow 3-bay Covered Hopper that is supposed to be on the way to the USA right now to be delivered in September?
Andrew
In order for Lionel to produce O Scale item in Montana Rail Link, it has to be decided upon what MRL items can they make and then what should be produced first.
Andrew
I thought the new catalogue will include a retro line of fishing reels, cameras, easy bake ovens, chemistry sets, microscope sets and junior tool sets. Then near the end you will see eight pages of American Flyer 'S' gauge which will be followed by a single blank page saying all 'O' gauge products unexpectedly delayed until 2014.
Regards,
Neil
You forgot the LIonel compass & gyroscope that were made.
Andrew...I have the Lionel Great Northern 3 Bay Centerflow on Pre-order. But I am waiting for my MTH Premier Chicago, Burlington & Quincy 3 Bay Centerflows (both numbers), and Lionel Milwaukee Road Reefer which should be arriving any day now! The next piece of rolling stock to swallow is the Northern Pacific 3 Bay Centerflow which my hobby shop is holding now.
Lionel/MTH has shipped a lot of Northern Pacific lately and my wallet is feeling it!
The suspense on this catalog is driving my bonkers. I've posted on Lionel's Facebook page, and I get silence.
Their FB page says september, but doesnt list a date. Sounds like late in the month from the postings

If late September winds up being the case, I wouldn't be surprised to see it pushed back to a York release.
