I love everything about this loco except for a small but noticeable squeak that has recently developed. It can be heard once with each rotation of the drivers. I have lubed it as per the Lionel instructions but suspect I overlooked something or some disassembly may be needed. Has anyone else encountered this. Thanks

I once had the same problem with an 0-8-0. In my case it turned out to be a rotating driver with a rubber traction tire making contact with a brake shoe mounted a little too close, resulting in a squeak with every rotation.
