Went today with fellow forum member Rich M. to today's show. Snapped some shots of the excellent Trackside Scenery layout brought to you by Joey Ricard.  Big fan of his YouTube videos and had a great time talking to him during my visit today. Very fun show.

If I could do it all over, I would go with American Flyer. When I was a kid I shared an American Flyer layout with two brothers.  We all still have part of the layout. When I started my layout in 1983, it was all over for American Flyer, but saw a lot at train shows.

Joey, the rivet detail in the plates of your bridge in the first picture are great.  Have to ask how they were done.  A decade ago I undertook scratch building a truss bridge using HO plans that I enlarged to O scale and bought the Plastruct products necessary.  I was pleased with the end result since it was built to scale.

My only regret was that I did not have a solution for creating the rivet detail reflected in your bridge.

Again, great looking bridge.
