Still have mine in the drawer below my control panel on my layout.  I had to glue the cover on again I read it so much.  That was my first real book of my own and my father got it for me when I was sick in bed at 10 years old.  It still has that Lionel train smell, like the old Lionel boxes.

While not exactly a "bible", it sure was a close second when it came to inspiring a young boy like me (at the time, of course) to get hooked on Lionel trains for what has become a lifetime.  I that repeat, it sure did what it was intended to do.

I am trying to find this book on the web, but it is a tough one to search because of the common title.  Do you have a link or ISBN # for the reproduction?

Thanks!
