R.I.P. Joe Fauty.
My condolences to the family. I'm sure God will love his company.
Prayers for Joe and His family!!!!
I'm simply astonished! I've been following his thread on scenery for his new layout and always marveled at his posts in Sunday Scenic Showcase. Godspeed Joe you will be missed. Condolences to family, friends and acquaintances.
I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Joe Fauty. I've always enjoyed reading his posts on the Forum and articles in OGR Magazine. He was a dedicated modeler and a craftsman. My condolences to Joe's family and friends.

When I got the email this morning from Mark, a friend and fellow club member with Joe Fauty in the Prescott area where he lived, I was saddened. His articles were well thought out and informative. I am not sure I ever met him when visiting the layouts in the Prescott area but knew of his work.
My condolences to his family and friends. Hopefully his "Unfinished Symphony" will be part of his heritage for his family, if not at least donated for the public to see at the display his club does in a local mall.
I'm sad to hear this. Condolences to Joe's family.
Very sad. Sending condolences to his friends and family.
Oh no,,,,,When I went to Arizona for the winter, I use to drive up to his shop for the day and visit him. I had no idea about this. So sad, he was a great craftsman and even better gentleman. RIP.
very sad
Bad news about another contributor to our hobby! A loss to all of us.
Sad news. Prayers for his family.
Very sad news. 😞
Joe was a great craftsman, I enjoyed seeing his weekly OGR offerings. I, as many of you, probably have thought about our final days. I can only pray that our creations along with Joes wind up in good hands or in a museum for others to enjoy in the future.
He will be missed.
R.I.P. Joe
It's odd reading about and seeing someone's work one day and their gone the next. A truly gifted man who gave back to the hobby. My condolences to friends and family.
Prayers for the family being sent.
My prayers and condolences to Joe’s family and friends. Joe was a true craftsman who always had something positive to contribute to the forum. He will be missed.

A sad day and condolences to his family and friends.
Joe was a very talented craftsman and I always enjoyed reading his posts and exchanging ideas on the Forum.
My condolences to his family and those close to him.
Such a wonderful contributor to our hobby. He will be missed.
@Allan Miller posted:... I feel I should also note that Joe never wanted payment for his articles, and instead asked that any payments be donated to a local food bank in your editor's hometown. His greatest interest was simply in sharing his knowledge and experiences with his fellow model railroaders.
Nice guy.
Joe was always generous with his advice and I will miss his active participation in the forum as well as his OGR articles. I am fortunate to have purchased one of his models and his legacy will live on across many railroad layouts I am sure.
I am very sorry for his family for this untimely passing...
This is not the type of news I anticipated reading this morning upon logging on the forum. I'm saddened to learn of his passing and I've always followed his posts with interest. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
