Picked this Paya set uplast week. Horrible quality, but looks good from a foot or two away. After numerous attempts, I got it going forward, then jammed the
reverse actuating arm so it will stay in forward. All 8 wheels on the tender are flanged and the trucks do not swivel so even if it was gauged correctly, it
wouldn't make a 36" Fastrak curve. Swapped the wheel sets out with Marx tin wheels and longer axles. There is now enough lateral wheel movement to negotiate
the Fastrak curve.

I took the  set into work today and gave it a little track time. Runs decent, but draws a fair amount of voltage, 18v, but only 1.8 amps. Bypassing the reverse coil sounds like a good idea to quiet it down. The reverse coil buzzes pretty loudly. Still a unique and attractive set.
