Has protosound. Runs for a while, then chug sounds garbled and the locomotive stops. Originally, I found that the battery needed replacing. Replaced with MTH battery. Problem still exists. Seems it might be intermittent. I put it on the layout and it ran great. Set it off the track and left it for a day. Came back, put it on the track, and it started acting like described. I thought it might be a short in the tether between the loco and tender, but it doesn't seem to get better or worse if I move the tether around. Anyone come across this before? suggestions? Thanks.
