In the past I have seen some great improvements made to MTH's Police Station on this site. Many have painted the buildings and added detail parts to further enhance the look of this cool structure. I'm getting ready to start painting one myself. If you've already tackled this project would you please post a picture or two of your building to help me get the creative juices flowing???

You're more than welcome, Bigtruckpete, and thank you. Have your "creative-juices" started a-flowing yet? That kind of thing has to come from the inside, for me at least; it can't be conjured up. Then, all of a sudden, I'm ready and in the mood, which is maybe not the way to finish a layout or a project for it, or run a business, but, I figure, what's the rush?.

Good to hear from you, Jerrman, and thank you. Though retired, I find myself busier than ever, but I do manage to make time for modeling and layout messin' 'round. T'is the Season to be runnin' trains, huh.

I found a few more renditions. Two are actually HO scale, but show some cool color combos.
Now that's a good looking building in NYC. Almost like a bank.
Below is how I decided to paint up the MTH version. I'm going to change it from a police station to something else. Not sure yet, maybe a library or museum.
