Postwar 681 loco

Just purchased my first postwar lionel 681 Loco with 2466wx (nonmatch) tender. Lubed it up, cleaned out the smoke unit, andput new wick material. Wow! For a seventy year old piece, this thing is impressive. Not a lionel fan, usually mth, k-line, and williams guy. Man, I think I'm sold on post war lionel. May be thinking of purchasing the ol Santa Fe AA 2343 in the future! Just wanted to share.
