Powering LED lights

I have some Woodland Scenic pre-built buildings that have LED lights. I also have some kit buildings I'd like to add LED strip lighting to. The LED strips will be powered by a adjustable DC transformer. Can the pre-built buildings with LED's also be powered by the DC transformer.

Mark, thanks for the advise. The below link is one DC transformer I'm considering. It has adjustable voltage.

Thoughts ?
