Premier B&A Caboose Special Run; Reservations Now Open!

Those of you that have already pre-ordered, THANK YOU!  I will be keeping my pre-order customers updated with occasional e-mails as to the ongoing developments and share with you prototypical research information so we can be sure your Boston & Albany caboose model is as close to prototypical accuracy as possible.  The computer renderings I have shown thus far are just samples I produced by myself.  The actual production artwork is not done yet and my pre-order customers will be the first to see and comment about them during the development process.

Here's something new we haven't announced yet.....WE ARE OFFERING OUR BOSTON & ALBANY AND NEW YORK CENTRAL CABOOSE MODELS WITH TWO-RAIL Scale Wheels complete with 700 Series Kadee Couplers installed!  Pricing and details will be announced soon.

I’m hoping we’re getting closer to production, I’d like to see the paint diagram. It’ll give me hope!

The official MTH Electric Trains artwork should be completed within the next two months and those of you that are signed up for e-mail updates will be the first to see and will be able to comment on them.

I can not wait for these cabooses.  I know a lot of B&A fans including myself have been pushing for this caboose for decades, ever since the Kline berks came out. @JR Junction Train & Hobby  Thanks again.

We are waiting on the artwork to be approved for both the Boston & Albany and our New York Central models.  I will be e-mailing the artwork to all the pre-order customers first.

The demand has been so overwhelming, we now have a waiting list for (both) Boston & Albany cabooses.

We are only able to take a few more pre-orders for the New York Central's and they too will be on a waiting list.

Will these be close to scale height? Was given one of the older ones and it has some very serious "Flood Pants" issues.

My belief is yes they will be scale height, however I cannot confirm until they actually ship from MTH.  Check back with us when they ship and we can take height measurements off the rail head for you.

We are rather excited about these Boston & Albany cabooses.  We haven't heard a peep from Lionel about the Berkshires.  Last we heard Lionel was having issues with the tooling?

Yeah I believe the tooling was the hold up. I don't recall what the implications of that are, that is what is going to happen, if things will progress or up the creek.

Glad I obtained a first run B&A Berkshire — it’s a really great looking freight steam engine— hope they solve the problems

I would say if they got a shoot(without the o's but an I instead) ton of orders, they'll find a way. If they just cleared the minimum, they'd probably call it a day. There has got to be a high demand for these, so they're going to work through it. Otherwise we would have heard it was cancelled for sure.

The Boston & Albany and our New York Central Caboose's has arrived at MTH Electric Trains and will soon be shipping to us.  For those of you attending HUDSON FEST on August 12th, you have the option to save on shipping and pick yours up personally.  If so, please let me know.  I believe I have one or two B&A road numbers not spoken for, but they won't last long once they arrive.

That means we should be receiving invoices in a few days before they can ship. I'm ready. 😁

The new grab irons are incredibly thin, the new steps are very nice and the lettering is stencil perfect; even the build date and end numbers.
