I have used the LCS WiFi module when the base and remote were running v1.52. I never had any problems running engines or adding new engines to the base.  I used an old iPad running v9.3.5  I haven't used that system for over a year, but decided to connect it again to the layout.  Since last using it I have updated the remote to v1.61 and the base to v1.60.  I am using the same iPad as before and I can still run the trains that appear in the roster without any problem.  However, if I add a new engine to the roster and upload it to the base, the green chain link that shows the Internet connection flashes between red and green.  I get the error message that I am not connected to a base.  The WiFi information still shows it is connected to the Lionel WiFi (I am using access point mode).  When link symbol flashes the app will not run engines.  The only way I have found to restore the connection is to power down the iPad and boot it up again.  The link symbol stays solid green, the engines run fine, AND the engine that was uploaded to the base that initiated the problem shows up in the roster and is active.   If I try to upload from the base, I get the flashing green/red again and the iPad has to be rebooted.  This same thing occurs with another Legacy base I have.  I have tried all 11 channels on the WiFi module with the same result.  I don't know if it is an ipad2 problem or a bug that exists when running v1.61/1.60.  Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks
