PS3 coupler

Sometime ago I bad ordered an engine because of a bad coupler. I got the bad coupler out then life got in the way of replacing it. I am now ready to install the new one, but since it was a while back, I don’t remember which wire came of which side of the coupler. In other words are the couplers polarity sensitive?

No, they are just a coil of wire- not polarity sensitive.
