Question Regarding Lionel Lionmaster

Lionmaster engines are selectively compressed to allow them to run on smaller curves. Lionel did an exceptional job with this compression ie: they're "compressed" but they maintain the "right" scale-look. I think all Lionmaster engines are TMCC.

 

As for the Legacy, that is a newer command control system with additional features and performance.

Some LMs are Legacy.    What's most important about them is they are high detail that will run on O-31.  The best of both worlds if you have a layout with smaller radius turns.

I love them all.  Have everyone except these two. I've seen the Hudson once or twice at a big premium over list.  Ihave never seen the WM Challenger for sale,
