The wheels go ‘round,

And trains follow the track.

They start right here,

And then they come right back.

LED light and doing it right.

How to install,

Keeps me awake at night.

Could it be the rain, or the mist?

To help me weather,

The new consist?

To use smoke or not.

More questions I’ve got.

Just what in the heck, is frog snot?

Would I be a dork, if I went to York?

Should I attend the convention?

Or just run conventionally?

I ponder and wonder,

About these things.

MTH or Lionel?

Lionel Blue Comet, and Red Comet too,

Lastly appears, the Comet in Green.

Just what the heck,

Does all this mean?

What ever happened,

To Haley’s Comet?

Did Lionel miss that one?

Is ore car too small,

Or perhaps just too long?

Too short or too tall,

Does it matter at all?

If you turned a cab-forward around,

And then ran it in reverse,

With the consist behind the front,

What would have?

I must have missed something too... added verse? The one I see works by itself. I don't really get what could have been added. Could someone clue me in?

As the author, I will clue you in.  I created a group of verses, and what I thought was a humorous bit of writing.  There seemed to be little interest in my efforts.  Yesterday A.M. I did add a verse, but the lack of interest caused my to take it down.  Perhaps, it was not to the general liking of the membership, or, perhaps not.  I'm never quite sure when there are no responses from the group that usually responds to most everything posted, controversial or bland.

I have decided to limit my activities on the site to what seems to be the norm.  As far as creative writing, I'll find another venue.

Dear Bob, Please don't take my lack of response as rejection, it's just that I have been busy and have not the time to make myself merry by reading your prose! I truly find your poem that you posted on Wednesday in the Midweek Haiku to be simply amazing and flabbergasting! I hope your passion for poems is one day published, if it were, I would buy a copy! Thanks for reposting Bob. I often look towards your posts for entertainment.

Well, we can't have that.  If you don't get it right, your trains will go spinning off into infinity or train heaven.
