My wifes co workers father left her with his childhood train collection and there are a few items she would like to have repaired. Any recommendations as far as good service and reasonable prices in the Chicago/NW Indiana area.

Berwyn's Hobby shop.
Okay, that answers a question I had. Berwyn does repairs. As a casual visitor, I never saw much in them soliciting repairs.

My club is an authorized lionel repair center. You might want to give us a call first. We have many members who are familiar with these items.

I'm friends with the guys at America's Best train & Hobby in Itasca. They have a couple talented techs working away full time. Stop by and tell Tony to take a vacation some time. Good guys, my primary supplier of all thing O Gauge
