Tore out the reverse loops and small spurs...too old for ducking under..
and even riding an office chair is not conducive for adequate turn out control

Have better plan to use space..increasing yards and their length,  and switching ability for
Longer trains...currently can pull 30 to 40 rolling stock, around curves and up grades...with out derailment....
Need more RH turnouts..seems I am LH poor...

See the old yards and reverse loops on you tube
"1jefreys"

The new will be up soon....

Worked OT on the layout..got reversing loop and "y" in place..
Tested with Switcher, no problems....
Ran the 4-6-2 and the turnout, a 54"r. Started shorting as the engine attempted to cross...
Appears the weight is deflecting the track so the rails cause a short, which pops the circuit...seems pushing MTH real trax to close is a problem...
Or...?
If you have a clue..I can use it....

On the bright side..Gargraves flex with wooden ties is a challenging blast to work with
It takes time to set the ties, but you get curves....selectively placed Gargraves makes REAL trax easier to work with...
Too much fun for one night...
Wish time spent on railroad drug as slow as time spent at work....
