Looks like a couple of rooms left at Best Western at $140.00 a night. WOW!!! They really jack up the price for York. I was just there last month and it was $76.00 total per night.

So what's new RICK? I am paying $149 plus taxes at the Holidome.
WOW!!! Eddie, I'm just surprised at how much they inflated the price at Best Western for this event. Like I said before, I just stayed there last month for only $76.00 and that included tax. I knew they raised the prices for York but not this much. And they don't even have HBO!!!!
Never been to Holidome so I'm not aware of their prices.

WOW!!! For a few $$$ more per night, my wife and I would stay at B&B's in the general area. Superb cozy amenities PLUS a terrific breakfast each morning more than made up for the extra $$$. 
I miss those days when we'd make a 4- or 5-day trip out of it... made for a great get-away weekend! Life has changed nowadays (that's a whole other story), and for the past few Yorks I've only driven out for a "day trip" on Thursday. Gets the job done, but not nearly the much-needed getaway feeling that it was when we would stay the entire weekend. One day we'll do it "in style" again.

Ha, ha! The Rodeway has free HBO for less than $80. (plus free internet connection).
If I owned a motel in York, I would certainly raise my rates as well. I'd figure anyone who could spend thousands on "toys" could pay it.
