I recently ordered some of the new Scalecoat flat weathering colors. It is good to have grimy black back again. I also got flat dirt, flat black and flat grime. All of them have worked just as the old Floquil paint worked. They are enamels but for weathering I thin them with laquer thinner. I am glad they brought these essential colors back.

Oh I agree Grimy Black is so useful, and I treasure the two bottles of it from Floquil that I'm using carefully and guarding between tasks.

In regards to Minute Man Paint's, are they doing the aerosol cans too?, Like Weaver offered?, Would like to know, it's much easier than buying a Airbrush.
FYI, they have two types of paint, one for plastics and another for metals. You need to tell them which type of surface you are painting on.
Scalecoat II is for plastic
I have always used Scalecoat II on brass as long as you prime it first with Scalecoat I. That way it saves money by buying only one paint that can be used on both brass and plastic and also Scalecoat II is decal ready. Stephen
