I plan to use Scaletrax on my new layout.  I would like to know if the length and curvature of Scaletrax and Realtrax curves and straights are comparable to each other.  In other words, if I lay a Scaletrax curve and a Realtrax curve on top of each other -- railhead to railhead -- do the curves have the same footprint (aside from the obvious differences in the height of the rails and the plastic ties and ballasting)?

I use Realtrax on my Christmas display and I was wondering if I can use those pieces to map out what I need for the Scaletrax layout.  (I'm the type of person who needs to see track laid out on the floor to decide where each piece should go, so rail-planning software won't work for me.)
