I have a post going on the electrical forum about weird ASC problems.  So far, no one has come up  with any ideas, so I thought I would move along to my next TMCC problem, my non functional SCII.  I have six O22 switches controlled by this unit.  Has been working fine until today.  Worked for first ten or twelve commands, then, stopped responding.  This happened one other time.  I resolved that problem, (or so I thought), by wrapping a turn of earth ground wire around the unit.  This time, I have tried re-programming,(not  sure it is taking), changing the units physical orientation relative to the nearest tracks and command base, and triple checking wiring for shorts or loose wires.  Seems that almost all of the TMCC problems I have had over the past ten years have involved engines or devices equipped with antennas, and have ultimately been resolved by replacing or modifying the antenna.  Has anybody ever experienced signal reception problems with the SCII, and if so, has anyone tried reworking the antenna to improve performance?
