So I took apart my Lionel SD60e last night to inspect the smoke unit wick.  After tuning everything, I put it all back together.  I noticed a very light noise coming out of the engine at low and medium speed.  I think the wires that go from the rear of the  locomotive were rubbing against the flywheel.  I corrected this and moved that bundle of wires down between the motor and side of the cab wall (a very tight fit).  This helped a bit, but there is still a very faint noise.

My question is this:  Is that bundle of wires supposed to be on the side of the motor or is it supposed to go above the flywheel?  Pics below  of how I reassembled it.  Any help is greatly appreciated.SD60e Guts AboveSD60e Guts Angle
