I know we are all in the same boat, the very slow one from China, but it seems to be getting worse. I have some Atlas, Lionel, MTH and Weaver items ordered that are all past the shipping dates projected. Has anyone heard if the mess in China is remedied and is there any light at the end of the tunnel? Some of the posts I have read are really scary especially the ones where a two year wait becomes a cancelled product. I don't want that in my orders nor I think any of you. We order items for our layout because it fits a certain need or because it looks great! Made in America would be so nice. Just blowing off steam here. Thanks for reading this. Paul

Understandable wanting to vent. I seem to be a misfit in that I don't pre order items. I, like many others, started out buying random road names. I have settled on just Pennsylvania lines. It turns out to work great for me becthere most of the companies make plenty of PRR stuff. I know this doesn't help answer your question, sorry. I read as much as I can about production and shipping and I believe no one really knows what will end up being made and if it is made when it will ship. I'm sure it is very frustrating and even hard to keep track of pre orders. This will be my first York and I hope to pick some items up there.

Familiar complaint.  I have a pre-order for an Atlas O U23B that I placed in September of 2010.  At one point, it was scheduled for November 2011 delivery.  Now, it's anyone's guess.  The last time I checked Atlas' website there is still no expected delivery date as all it says is TBA.

I'm not worried.  If I'm meant to get the loco, it will happen.
