I have a up es44 that has smoke issiue I can't figure  out.. This is what I have done so far to trouble shoot.. I have extra smoke units so I pluged one in same results the motor will run but the element does not get hot. Changed the smoke unit cable same result. Did a factory reset same result. I checked all the wires and plugs look good Same result. Any ideas are welcome ..Next option for me is changing out the smoke pcb ...

I said regulator, Bill didn't.  Bill is showing a smoke fan control PCB.  I guess this is a Legacy engine with Vision Smoke unit.  I wasn't sure what control system which is why I asked.

 

That is one expensive PCB for controlling Smoke fan.

 

Bill, does that board due more than just smoke fan as the description says?  G

I think he ment stumped also stunned=To daze or render senseless, by or as if by a blow. 2. To overwhelm or daze with a loud noise. 3. To stupefy, as with the emotional impact of an experience; ...

We can start with two AC Hots, two AC Grds, two smoke on and off switches (main & aux), as needed, serial input, smoke resistor and fan motor out x2.

Thanks Bill.  Liked like it did, I can see the 2 high Amp FETs.  I assume all the outputs are DC with the Bridge.  G
