Speaker for MTH engine20-2253-1

I have an FEC GP-38-2 that the speaker is operating "intermittently".......meaning that the speaker operates at times, and does not operate at other times. I have tried to re-solder the speaker wires, thinking perhaps there might be a "cold solder joint", but this did not change anything. If I put pressure on the board where the wires attach to the speaker, it will work. It appears I need a new speaker!

Is MTH the only source for these speakers (16 ohm, 5 watt, 2 inch)? I would like to find better quality speakers.... if there is something available that would fit in the same place, without having to modify the speaker holder. Any advice is appreciated..........thanks.
