Good Morning Everyone,
I will start off with a model I made many years ago. It comes out once a year and we place it in the living room. I know the structure is not accurate to the time frame, but I have always built what I see in my mind.

Thanks for keeping this thread going this year. 2017 has been really busy with lots going on in my household and with Train club activity. Am planning a layout expansion on my home pike, to commence sometime in the spring so should have some material to contribute here.

In honor of my Uncle Eddie who died in the late 90's are some photos of his last layout in Florida. I can remember as a kid visiting him in NJ going downstairs and seeing this huge HO layout, especially the work table with the lathe. Back then if you wanted an locomotive you had to 'roll your own'.
Uncle Eddie even posed for an advertisement for UniMat in the Feb 1957 Model Railroader magazine (see attached pdf file).
