Trying to keep this once jam packed Showcase alive. Guess most are gone now or no longer interested. Maybe with all the free time on Sundays now, it will become more active.

 Here is one N&W from a 2 pk. I found, weathered car #1380.....

Agree we need to keep this once THRIVING OGR thread alive.

Here is a building I picked up real cheap at a swap meet . I added some LED lighting and the figures, detail and loading dock. I just need to make space on my layout and light it up

I am working on few more that I should be posting in the next few weeks

You guys have touched my heart. I want anyone who constructs any scenery to post. I learn something from everything I ever saw here. I did not want to miss a week but I think we all lead very busy lives.

We miss your excellent work Max.  I just keep going back through your build thread.  Learn something each time.  Don’t see any creepys crawling out of those cabinets.

Nope.  They've all krept off. 

nice to see more joining in again here is what my wife the scenic person is doing. mountain scene above and the logging area below it and below that is the main lines.

how does one get the jpg and number off of photos ?? not all that computer savvy any help will be appreciated.

I rather like them like that.  SWMABO has other ideas. 

Getting things together for this year's church layout. I'm expanding the paper building city that will be in the background of one section. Hoping to purchase and place the Menard's York Hotel in the front.

I have long been in awe and envy of the skills exhibited by you and many others on the Forum, all the more so since I have no talent for such work. I am more likely to buy something already built than try to build it myself. Until now, that is. I have an odd little area at the edge of my freight yard - too small for another track, but big enough to rather stick out like a sore thumb. So I decided to try and build a loading platform to fill the space. I started with some wood strips I picked up from Jo-Ann's and some etched floor board sheets I ordered from a company out in Washington state. I ended up making three platforms, 24" long by 3" wide, and 1.25" high.

All in all, I am very happy with how they turned out, but in retrospect, it probably would have been much cheaper to buy some pre-made

you will always look at that corner of the layout and can say you scratch built that yourself. It is one of a kind.
