Team tracks and transload facilities have long been an important part of railroad operations. They can be found in rural countrysides, small towns, and large cities. These non-dedicated sidings make it possible for any local businesses to access to the nation's rail network. Virtually any type of freight car can be on/off loaded here. You might even find some MOW or passenger train equipment at a team track.

Join the fun, share what's being loaded, unloaded, parked, or exhibited on your railroad's sidings.

From highly detailed layouts to simple loops of tinplate, our weekly thread is for everyone!

Team track one in Lower Patsburg in the very early hours of this morning well before the sun came up.    As a youngster observes from his bike .... under yard floodlights ... MOW crews load MOW cars with materials needed for track work out in the remote rural areas of the Free State Junction Railway.

After sunrise, MOW crews scurry about to get the job done.... as a boy on his bike takes it all in.  IMG_3242
