I remembered one back east and that must be the one. It appeared in a CTT photo some years back. Don't know if it was the work of creative taggers, maintenance crews with a sense of humor, or a combination thereof. There was also a GP9 running on a branch line years back that was painted orange and white with "Lionel Lines" on the white stripe. Somewhere in my collection of digital photos of the Redlands Loop remnants, I have a photo of a section of track with a third rail spiked right down the center. Don't know if it was a track crew having a laugh, securing a spare section of rail or a crude bridge guard rail (It spanned a small drainage ditch bridge as I remember.) Kinda says there's a prototype for just about everything, or life imitates art.
