Thumbs up to Lionel service

I am disabled but love my trains. I purchased one of the first run Legacy systems - the ones we had to mail back to Lionel to fix. I have legacy 1.3 right now but I want to upgrade so I called Lionel service and they had my name on record from when I purchased my Legacy unit. I updated my address and they said they will mail me version 1.6 legacy on blue modules - I explained I can't do the internet download black ones route. I am disabled person. They said they will mail the 1.6 ones out to me no charge right away. I was wowed by this . keep you posted,

Follow up post - I received the Legacy 1.6 modules today from Lionel. Shipped in a box - priority mail. No cost for item no shipping charge. A big thumbs up to Lionel for keeping their promise to an original launch Legacy purchaser.

I'm glad that you had good luck with Lionel Service. However, I've posted three talk to us posts over the last several weeks and they have failed to reply to any of them. I think that their customer service has gone down hill over the last several months.
