In reference to Thursday at Fridays, it's not about what team you're a fan of, it's the games being televised that night.
The Seahawks are on Thursday Night Football and the Flyers are on local tv that same night.

As for October NHL games, ask any team that just missed getting to the playoffs how important losing points in October was!
But not to worry Ted, Fridays has more than one tv, so they'll probably have both games on. Unless there's a couple baseball playoff games on! At least the beer is good!

We are talking about going to a restaurant & bar after the first day of a train show. I'm just letting everyone know what I will be watching at 8:30. If you aren't interested that is fine. As long as you stay out of the way you will be safe.

Richard Sherman is a 3 railer and may be using his day off to addend the show on Friday. Do you want to explain to him why you didn't see his pick six Thursday night? 
I'm not worried about the sound. We'll be streaming Raible and Moon.

Allan, don't forget to wear your Philadelphia Flyers jersey!! There will be plenty of socializing with fellow hobbyists, no worry about that! After a weekend on the water and at the beach in Chincoteague, Va., I'm refreshed and ready for York!!
Unfortunately, Brian, I will not be at York this time around. I have a very ill pooch who has not really recovered from major surgery back in August. Taking care of her has been a real job in itself. However, after 14 years together, I owe her the best care and attention I can provide at this time.
Allan, I hope your dog will be OK. I would do the same as you if my Boston terrier BINGO were sick. York can wait.

I must say Jim, my wife, son, and I will miss Chuck (Trainpop on the forum) this time. We will still be at Fridays but will surely miss his stories. Get Lolly better so we can see you in April!

Sorry to hear, Allan, that you won't be at York. Take extra-special care of that doggie...dogs are so meaningful to many of us and it's not hard to understand why you would stay home.
