Tiny-TVs how can we use them in our trains and accessories??

At $75 this is a pricey item, but a rather neat concept.  I suspect that an LCD module and a Raspberry Pi can probably duplicate the TV effect at a much, much lower cost.

Thanks for posting this.  I've had an idea for a long time but no idea how to make it happen.  This looks like half of a solution.

Waiting for someone to complain it's not UHD and HDR.

Cool little unit.  I'd have to give it some thought on if I could utilize it.

If the TV can be made 1:43rd scale, it could be used in an appliance store, living rooms and/or bars.

A few years ago, Marklin did a similar thing using the small LCD’s to simulate doors opening/closing on metro trains. The car came complete with sound of the doors opening/closing, people entering and leaving the cars, etc. I thought it was a neat idea.

It's more G-Scale sized with a 48" scale sized screen width.  Cool idea though...

They sell the module separately. I was thinking of making an information board for my passenger station with it. I also toyed with the idea of using it in one of my houses as a flat screen tv since this case is a little too big.

And Dave Olson said they couldn't get small screens anymore.

I thought the video is uploaded and looped.

I don't know about how to use it in the layout, but I really, really want one!

It's on a microSD card for the one you linked in the first post.  Cool if it was half the size, I'd probably buy one.

I imagine the enclosure could be made smaller or simply remove the legs and now it will be approximately the 1:48 scale in height.  There were some large sets at one time so I wouldn't rule this out.

You could put this into a home and have some kids sitting in front of it watching the Adams Family where Gomez is playing with his trains!   All sorts of ideas with this little gadget.

Very cute and customizable.

i like the idea of making an Information Board inside a large station or outside a station.

Taking a few of the screens together and looping a video of departures and arrivals changing as various trans move in and out of the station with audio.

I saw on the products page there is another display without the "TV" cabinet.  I don't understand if it does the same thing or not.  I'm curious if any type of video/camera signal could be connected to it.

Pretty sure it's the same board, just without the cabinet.  They actually have a few different display kits with various funcitons, so you'd have to be sure you were getting the functionality you were looking for.

I must have gotten very deep into their website and I couldn't find where to order.   I was on a page with specifications, reviews and much more.
