I believe what you need is a 5mm nut driver.  You can get one from Amazon for < $3.  If you have a socket wrench set you might have one already; 1/4” drive is best.

MTH steamers use 5mm head screws.  There are numerous posts on replacing traction tires, do a search on the forum.  Also, small retainers, used for positioning the tires, are also described.  Easy to make out of paper clips.  they  make the job easier.

Thanks everyone. I have been able to swap out the tires.  I used a small lock wrench, but will purchase a small metric box wrench set for future tire changes.

The 5mm metric nut driver is what you really want, makes the job much easier than a box wrench.

I have socket set of those small metric sizes (4mm, 5mm, 5,5mm, etc).  I use a very cheap Harbor Freight hook set to slip tires on
