By the way, I went with the 3000K and the color is great.  Very close to standard incandescent.  The only "negative" I'd give the lights is they take about half a beat to power on.  So you throw the switch and it's not quite one-mississippi and they're on.  If you've never encoutered that in LED's before, you might think who cares?  But you'll notice it.  Anyway, if you want overheads, they're a good value and they'll light up a room BIGTIME.  You might not use all 6 strips.

   Don't know what kind LED over head lighting you have but mine come on instantly. There are 6 of them in my Train Room and they light it up!  Ofcourse I have a white Train Room and dark solid wood floors.
