Var 1 and 2 questions

If that doesn't work you may have 2 faulty Variable channels whereas they can't be changed to Fixed Mode.

Basically it's:

Menu/System/DCS set up/TIU#1/Variable1/ soft key FXD

Menu/System/DCS set up/TIU#1/Variable2/ soft key FXD

From Gunrunnerjohn's post of 12/6/14:

I configure them as fixed, then if I need variable, just selecting the track and moving the thumbwheel will drop them back to variable until the next power cycle of the TIU.

I guess my question, can you lock it at a certain voltage, I have a PH180 hooked up to my variable, I'd like to set it to 14 volts to power the DZ1000 switches and smaller accessories

Yes, you can.

Can you hint me where that is in your book. I can't seem to find it

Pages 31 and 32. It's the MTV soft key for individual tracks.

In DCS 4.30, you can use the MSV soft key (not in the book yet - next edition) for either All TIU Tracks or ALL Z4K Tracks.
