I teach an Architectural Drafting class and we're doing a unit on model building. I'd like to get involved and build a model also. The first thing I thought of was the Virginia Railway Station in Roanoke. Does anyone know where I can get some detailed drawings of the structure? I pulled one basic floor plan off of the Roanoke Website but it only has the basic outer dimensions. Floor plan and elevation drawings would be great. Is this something I could get from the Virginia Transportation Museum?
I'm going to use the plans to draw up the structure in 3D then build a model. Thanks to anyone who can help.
