Visited the "Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club" Saturday!!

Ray Marion is a wonderful host. I am not surprised that you had a very good time. Nice group of train guys.

If you ask me both the North Central O' Gaugers & Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club need someone to post their "Open Houses" here in the "Announcements" section.

Ray Marion and this group are a bunch of nice guys.  They put on a good show.

Need to echo what Brian and Art said about the club and Ray Marion. Ray is a great host and ambassador for the club. Look forward to seeing the changes the club has made.

How much T-Rail track do they have?

Thanks for the pictures. Is it mostly FasTrak?

From the looks of it, 1st and last pic isn't, but the rest shown is Fastrack.

Question- do these guys have a webpage showing future open houses?

The layout at the club is in two sections, the Belt Line, which runns along the wall, is Fastrack. The Mainline is mostly the Original Lionel O-Gauge as installed on the Modules which are still in use. There is some use of Fastrack on the Mainline where trackage was modified.

Yhe Club is in the planning stage of replacing the Mainline with a New and Improved Track plan and operation.'

The lights have been dimmed for the Christmas lighting. Normal operation is under better lighting conditions.
