Yes, absolutely call Lionel. A single blink usually equals stalled main motor.

Have you tried cleaning the track?

I have a legacy k4 that will flash the same code if it stalls on dirty track.

It's the only Loco I own  that does it. I wipe the track with some alcohol and all is well.

Even though your track may look clean, it may still have a light layer of dust, oil, etc.

Rick, I wipe the rails down pretty regularly with alcohol but I try again and keep an eye on the GG1.
