Want to buy Atlas O ADM Trinity 5161 Hoppers.

You can call Jeff on Fridays, I believe he still had some in stock not that long ago,as you are probably aware all his Atlas reservations went to Petersens. I called Andy and cancelled mine I hope to pick them up when they come out from an east coast dealer. Once reservations are closed at Atlas they no longer guarantee late orders BTO only.

Sheesh Frank, I was buying these 3 rail cars and stashing them away. I got CSX and BNSF I think. I never saw these schemes. I'll go look for U. Now I want these ones too.

There was a western scheme with two long blue stripes and arrow type ends pointing up and down? I never saw those ones reproduced? (Grain Train cars?)

The scheme you are referring to was never done on the Atlas Trinity cars, I believe only AM hobbies run of the KCS cars and JDs run of the ADM cars are the only paint schemes done outside the Atlas factory runs.

His web site still shows 3 rail versions of these in stock.

Check with Beth at Public Delivery Track (http://www.publicdeliverytrack.com/). She often has Atlas cars that other dealers don't. Don't be afraid to buy 2-rail cars. I'm sure you'll be able to find someone (like me for instance) who's more than willing to swap 3-rail trucks for your 2-rail trucks/couplers.
