Where i come from "cash & carry" means just that; "cash" means good old cash Yankee dollars - no credit, no credit cards, no debit cards, no checks, no iou's - just cash. "Carry" means you take it with you then and there - no deliveries, no shipping, no layaways, no holding for later pick-up. Pretty simple to me.

By the way in an earlier post you mentioned your family had been in business since 1915; what sort of business? i'll be passing through Ohio later this summer and might be able to avail myself of some of their goods and/or services. Sorry if this is a little off topic but you didn't have your email listed in your profile for me to private message you.

But thats not always the case either, sometimes they use that term but accept cc as well. So unless you know for sure, your only speculating.

Just received a UPs shipping notice from Weaver that the brass water tower I ordered on Tuesday has been shipped.  I got lucky!!  I suggest that anyone interested in something should check their web site for availability.  I am told that the stuff is going out fast.

No, people should call them.

When I tried several days ago, the items I was interested in were all shown as available on the web-site.  I do not believe it updates real-time, as none of them were available when I asked.
