Weaver has posted a cash and carry sale commencing June 29 at their site. Is anyone planning on attending?

I just called Weaver looking for their telephone poles and they are sold out. The phone rep told me the phones have been very busy. and now through June 28 regular pricing is in place, she also stated that everything is up for sale.

2railguy,

Where i come from "cash & carry" means just that; "cash" means good old cash Yankee dollars - no credit, no credit cards, no debit cards, no checks, no iou's - just cash. "Carry" means you take it with you then and there - no deliveries, no shipping, no layaways, no holding for later pick-up. Pretty simple to me.

By the way in an earlier post you mentioned your family had been in business since 1915; what sort of business? i'll be passing through Ohio later this summer and might be able to avail myself of some of their goods and/or services. Sorry if this is a little off topic but you didn't have your email listed in your profile for me to private message you.

Yes, that was the meaning of my reply to someone asking if credit cards would we taken at an event plainly described as "Cash & Carry."   Kinda like the famous  "Grant's tomb" question.

But thats not always the case either, sometimes they use that term but accept cc as well. So unless you know for sure, your only speculating.

No, people should call them.

When I tried several days ago, the items I was interested in were all shown as available on the web-site.  I do not believe it updates real-time, as none of them were available when I asked.
