"Please" This is not intended to be a bashing thread of any kind. That being said I just received my new MTH MBTA diesel and I love it! 
What I don't understand "from both camps" not just MTH is what are they putting in the smoke units in the factory? Most of the time with a new engine you have to put up with the nasty smell from the smoke unit until you can run the stuff out.
I would almost rather them ship it dry then the fluid they put in at the factory. Nothing a few runs of Megasteam's "Eliminator" can't cure thank goodness.
