I've logged on with both Chrome and Firefox and can't find the sponsor's banners. Over to the right in blue is a heading "Forum Sponsors" but I can't click on it.

Are you trying to click on OGR FORUM SPONSORS ? Or the individual banners?
I have on banners at all top or on the side. I checked on my apple I pad as well nothing shows up at all.
Maybe I'll re-boot and try again. No banners appearing anywhere.
Yes, I tried to click on "OGR Forum Sponsors" as well, just in case that was the new access point. That didn't work either.
If re-booting works, I'll post.
Have you installed any ad blocking software? It will remove the banners
Chris, BINGO! Was having a major problem with my Amazon session being high-jacked so installed "Simple Adblock". Don't visit the Forum too often these days. Will have to remember to disable that extension prior to a Forum visit.

If your sessions with Amazon are being HiJacked there is something else on your machine that merely blocking ads will not take care of. My son had a similar problem on his PC a few months ago. Not sure what it was called, but one symptom was that it reset your browsers default search engine all the time. I goggles the name of the search engine and the fix was found
Chris, once again, thanks. I did install the Simple Adblock extension to IE, Chrome and Firefox; hopefully as a future preventive measure. I neglected to say that I also installed a freeware program called "Malware Bytes". I had searched on line for the Amazon culprit, called "TT Online", and there were several recommendations that Malware Bytes would find it and remove it. It did. I normally run Trend Micro Maximum Security but I was waiting for arrival of a new Trend Micro version purchased online. In a two-day window with elapsed coverage, I obviously got infected.
Happily back in business. Thanks to all who replied.
