So both MTH and Lionel have announced re-issues of the Bush 4141 SD70ACe. Would you prefer the same generic Sound Set and "Chatter" that they use in their previous offerings both of the Bush 4141 and other SD70ACe's, or would you prefer a new sound set with "Chatter" specific to what might have been used on the Funeral Train, departure and destination cities, etc...? Obviously, by using the generic Sound Set, the engine would be more useful when used in regular freight service on our layouts, rather than be limited by the engine being used in a "Funeral Train" type of consist.

Or perhaps a seperate "Sound Set" could be offered by one or both MTH and Lionel as a down-loadable option.

What do the think?

How would one obtain a copy of the specific "Cap Chatter"

IMO, on MTH engines, it would be best if it came with a Bush funeral sound set. That would then become a new sound set made available to those that already have the PS3 engine from the 2017 catalog. If you decide after making the purchase that you don't like the funeral sounds, you can always change it to the generic SD70 sound sets.
