Yeah, I looked into doing an actual scale setup and the size would have made it un-runable on my layout. I built that one to commemorate my uncle building his 20 megawatt wind farm out at the lodge. he used GE turbines hence the GE locos. the blades are around 110 feet long, the towers are 90 meter towers in three sections roughly 90 feet in length and the nacelles are the size of a bus. Actual wind turbines are not small and ground to tip they are 300 to 400 feet tall. I settled on the Lionel turbines as they would fin on the rolling stock available and i can run the train on my layout.

Thanks Matt.

Glad to see I'm not the only one to have a layout on the floor.

I have considered the size of the turbine blades and decided they would not fit easily on my layout, although I do have a Schnabel car that requires a minimum 60 curve (recommended 72 curve) plus some other car/locos that require 60 curves.

If you want, take a look at my collection here: http://www.dog-walker.org/trains-modern.htm

I found a 2-car set. I also found the associated parts car:

(K-Line) K691-1172A - TCA Pacific Northwest Division Boeing 2-Car Airplane Transport Set

(K-Line) K691-1152 - Boeing Airplane Parts Car

As you can see, the fuselage is unpainted. Would love to find someone that could paint it the appropriate shade of green or whatever color they are supposed to be.
