So i threw this meter in on an existing order cause I saw it used by other members and thought it was neat. 
But of course now I cant wire it correctly. 
Can you help me with the connection? Thx in advance

Does this help any? Did you get any instructions as to what the wires and colors were? Take a careful picture of the back of the meter where all the wires are connected...that can be the most revealing when compared to the meters I have.
You can forget the dc supply in the picture if your amp meter does not use. The volt meter just gets wired tot the track.

The track is AC, no? And this is a volt/amp meter for a DC supply for signs, etc?
Where is the meter obtained from? I could use another.
No instructions. DC volts/amps only according to label. Here are some pics of the back. As is dc i thought I could only measure dc which is why I have pictures of the buck converter powering two Menards buildings. They require dc 4.5v. Everything else I have is ac off the accessory terminals on the xfmr. I searched the meter and a walmart source third party came up.
It looks like just replace the thick blue wire in my diagram with your thick yellow wire. Hook up as shown otherwise. The thin black wire is not used as you can see in my diagram.

Over by the thick wires, the current measuring shunt is that thick U shaped sticking up next to the connector. Note how the load common connection is isolated in the diagram.
If you have an accurate meter, you can adjust the digital meter with those two little potentiometers on the back. Trial and error as to which is which...
I wondered why they were there. Have already gone through the excercise of measuring both volts and amps. But thought it neat to have the meter there even tho it won't hardly change any unless I add more load. Thx again for your help. TW

The green arrow connections appear to be the same place, so why the confusing diagram?
I'm curious if you have actually tried this as many of these meters go out of their way in the instructions to caution you that a totally isolated logic power supply is needed.
Do you have an item number or link to that product?
John, I'm pretty sure this is the meter link. Had to pull emails, etc., out of the trash. Not sure it gives you the detail you want. TW
Ted, looks like a different meter, and it's a lot more expensive than the one listed. 
This is where I got mine.
The $10.98 is what I paid. Paid more for convenience of including on another order. If I can't wire it like John H sez, I'll set it on the shelf. It's time will come at some point. I'll be careful. TW 
Has anyone found one of these all in one volt/amp meters listed above but for an "AC" applications. The ones I find on eBay, the minimum AC voltage required is in the 70v range. Need something that is in the 0 - 30v range and 0- 10 amp range.
You're looking for the Holy Grail of digital meters, this comes up all the time! 
So far it's not really available.
Is there not a demand for them? You can purchase $10-20 digital multi meters but you can't find a AC Volt & Amp only meter. The only AC ones I have seen are on the Z4000 transformers as individual meters

Well, there's a demand for them in the O-gauge community for obvious reasons, but the total lack of them showing up on eBay from the volume Chinese dealers suggests that the was not a demand for them that justified volume production.
Maybe the Russians will do em!!

Also, along with what GRJ says, a few years ago they had digital volt meters only for AC, but those seem to have vanished and are also nowhere to be found now. I didn't get any, but I think there were digital amp meters for AC as well. Guess I should have stocked up back then, maybe we all should have. Who knew they would become extinct in such a short time?

JGL was working on such an AC widget in this thread. I don't know where the project stands though. It's not a simple task.
Separately, expanding on cjack's diagram from earlier, if you get the $2-3 DC version (free shipping from Asia) from eBay that has the BLUE wire here's the hookup:

Is that a statement or a question? Are you following what cjack suggests (using diagram I showed with thick yellow instead of thick blue)...or what John H. shows which really has thin yellow (not thick yellow).

Did you try:
Step 1. Remove the crimped terminal connector and black alligator from the strip. Leave them connected.
Step 2. Attach the thick yellow meter wire to the pair (the now loose terminal connector and black alligator).
